El’Sprite Cattery is proudly located in Oberon, at the very top of the stunning Blue Mountains, just a scenic three-hour drive from Sydney, Canberra, or Dubbo.
With over 30 years of experience breeding Mini Foxie Dogs, Miniature Horses, and Tenterfield Terriers, our journey has evolved into a deep passion for cats — specifically the beautiful and rare Tonkinese and Toyger breeds.
Our story began when my son, Rhys, then just eight years old (now 21), asked for a Toyger neuter to show. That single request sparked a love for this striking breed and its future in Australia. Since then, we have carefully built our breeding program, importing top-quality breeding stock from respected breeders in Europe, the UK, and New Zealand.
At El’Sprite, we are committed to preserving and promoting the unique character, health, and consistency of the Toyger. Our goal is simple: to introduce these extraordinary cats to Australian homes, where they can be cherished as beloved family members.
